2 weeks in bed, at first, it took me a full hour just to get out of bed (barely, maximum I managed to stand on were my knees and my arms). So grateful that I'm better now. I never appreciated walking as much as I do now.
I want to get back to training so much, want to jump higher, kick harder, punch sharper, run faster, but I can't. The road to full recovery will be long and steady, but hopefully at the end, there will be a new, better me.
After being able to lift over 300kg and being more agile than many fighters, I suddenly realise that after the injury I'm as strong and as fast as a 80 year old man.
Cherish your body, cherish what you have now, as you never know, what may happen tomorrow.
